RESOLUTION NO. 93-349
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING
OF THE SW~ OF THE SW~ OF SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 15
.. WEST, FROM C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE TO M (GENERAL
MANUFACTURING) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE ARIZONA STRIP AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on December 6, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time for the above described property owned by David
L. Giebink of Littlefield, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, Section 33 is located approxi.mately three miles
north of the I-IS/Littlefield interchange. The property fronts
<.:~ the east side of Highway 91 three miles north of the interchange
r",(:" of Highway 91 and I-IS, and

WHEREAS, there is equipment on the site for a concrete batch
plant that has not been in use for three to four years. The
property is currently being used for a sand and gravel operation,
and

WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the
Mohave County Board of Supervisors on September 4, 1990, per
Resolution No. 90-226, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested in a letter dated
August 23, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning August 25,
1993, that the zoning be extended for one year to allow
additional time to complete land leveling, and

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on November 10, 1993, the
Commission recommended APPROVAL of the Extension of Time for a
zone change subject to the following:
1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution
No. 90-226.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, November 21, 1993, and posted November
19, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, December 6, 1993, APPROVED
this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and zoning Commission and outlined herein.
