(it ~ f, i) A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR A WATER STORAGE TANK AND PUMPING FACILITIES IN AN ~ (AGRICULTURAL- RESIDENTIAL) ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE E~ OF THE NE~ OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 24 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, LOCATED IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November 1, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to owner Hatch Valley Water Company of Peach Springs, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the site is located in the Truxton area which lies approximately 30 miles northeast of Kingman on Highway 66. The property can be accessed from Highway 66 via Molthan Lane, then southeast approximately 250 feet to the southwestern side of the property, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2050B indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding. The surrounding land uses consist of commercial related businesses along Highway 66 located north of the site, and single family residences scattered throughout the area. There are homes located directly south and west of the property with a large wash on the east side being vacant, and WHEREAS, the property is currently being used for a well site, consisting of a small pump house and a water storage tank. The applicant intends to install a new 5,000-gallon hydropneumatic tank and a 53,000-gallon storage tank, and upgrade the structure of 'the existing pump house, and public hearing before the Mohave County Commission on October 13, 1993, the APPROVAL of the Zoning Use Permit based on WHEREAS, a t the Planning and zoning Commission recommended the following: 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained. J " "-- ~. If construction or use has not commenced within one year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if the use has been discontinued for six months, then approval shall terminate at that date. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 17, 1993, and posted October 14, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1993, approved this zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
