RESOLUTION NO. 93-321
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A CELLULAR RADIO TOWER IN AN A-R/36A
~ (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/THIRTY-SIX ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE,
IN A PORTION OF THE NE~, NE~, SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH,
RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE MEADVIEW PORTION OF THE MORAVE
COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.

WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on November 1, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a
Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to applicant
Mohave Cellular Limited Partnership of Kingman, Arizona, and

WHEREAS, the subject site is located south of the Meadview
area, west of Pierce Ferry Road and adjacent to the western
boundary of Meadview Unit 3, and

WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-1275B indicates
this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding.
The surrounding land uses consist primarily of scattered
residences to the west in Meadview Unit 3 with the remainder of
the area being vacant, and
WHEREAS, this site is on federal land administered by the
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) south of the Lake Mead
Recreational Area, and
WHEREAS, the applicant intends to establish a 50-foot
antenna tower and a 12-foot by 12-foot radio equipment building,
with access provided from Meadview Unit 3, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on October 13, 1993, the
Commission recommended APPROVAL of the Zoning Use Permit subject
to the following:

1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

3. If construction or use has not commenced within one
year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if
the use has been discontinued for six months, then
approval shall terminate at that date.
4. That provisions for access to the site be established.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, October 17, 1993, and posted October 14,
1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
a t the ir regular meet ing on Monday, November 1, 1993 , approved
this Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
