A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR AN R-V
(RECREATIONAL VEHICLE) PARK IN A C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE ON
, LOTS 243, 244, 250 AND 251, MEADVIEW UNIT 9, TRACT 1161, SECTION
35, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE MEADVIEW
PORTION OF THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY,

WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on November 1, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a
Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to owners
Dennis and Ruth Ogden of Meadview, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located south of Meadview and east
of Pierce Ferry Road. The property is accessed from Pierce Ferry
Road via Sandview Drive, then east approximately 400 feet to
Glenwood Drive, then north approximately 150 feet to the
southwest corner of the property, and
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-1275B indicates
this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding.
The surrounding land is vacant; however, there are scattered
residences in the area. The zoning of the parcels is R-E
(Residential Recreation) with the surrounding parcel also zoned
R-E, and
WHEREAS, the site is vacant with no indication
or other infrastructure on the property. There is
to the north of the property that lies within
drainage easement. The nearest paved roadway is
Road, and

WHEREAS, the applicant is applying for a Zoning Use Permit
before submitting any engineering plans to see if approval will
be granted to allow this use, and
WHEREAS, at the

1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and
floodplain permits be obtained.

I f construction or use has not commenced within one
year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if
the use has been discontinued for six months, then
approval shall terminate at that date.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, October 17, 1993, and posted October 14,
1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1993, approved
this Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
