PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDIRG FEE 0.00 He MJCROFR.MB) ,':'\ -i? #4 RESOLUTION NO. 93-319 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN R-V (RECREATIONAL VEHICLE) AND ~ MOBILE HOME PARK IN AN A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE N~, SE~ SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. " WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November 1, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property to owner Mohave Concrete & Materials, Inc. of Kingman, Arizona, and (~::<~ ...... .;~':;.'..".:', . . '."'--," -. -. ~"-..,:../ WHEREAS, the property is located adjacent to and has access from the I-40 frontage road (Highway 66), and is located approximately one mile north of the McConnico and Oatman Exit, and .. WHEREAS, there are currently five site-built homes and two mobile homes located on the property. The surrounding area is primarily vacant with a concrete/block plant to the west, and some scattered residential homes to the north that use this property for access, and WHEREAS, a block wall has been constructed along the north and east sides of the property separating it from the adjacent wash, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on March 9, 1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-68, and ' WHEREAS, the applicant has requested in a letter dated August 16, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning August 17, 1993, that the Zoning Use Permit be extended for one year. The . letter states, "As you are aware, this permit was originally applied for by the previous owners, Victor and Delores Mack. The Macks completed many of the required improvements in what we consider Phase I of the project. It is our intent to contact the ~ engineer used by the Macks in order to complete the project." RESOLUTION NO. 93-319 Page 2 WHEREAS, this property, and PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2305 PG 653 (FEE~93-6279~) is the first Extension of Time for the WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission on October 13, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the Extension of Time for a Zoning Use Permit based on the following: 1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution No. 92-68. 2. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being March 9, 1994. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 17, 1993, and posted October 14, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1993, approved this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
