PAGE i OF 2 HOHAVE COUMTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDI~G FEE 0.00 NC MICROF1LMED RESOLUTION NO. 93-314 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONING OF THE N~ OF PARCEL 8, GOLD ROAD STATION UNIT 2, SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM A-R/10A (AGRICULTURAL- RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE TO A-R/9A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/NINE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November 1, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property to representative Mohave Surveying of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, Section 28 is located approximately three miles south of Highway 68 and approximately 11 miles west of the Highway 68 and 93 junction. The property is accessed from Highway 68 via Egar Road, south approximately three miles to the northeastern corner of the property, and WHEREAS, one of the conditions of the rezoning was the submittal of a parcel Plat. A Parcel Plat is currently being reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Department, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 6, 1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-237, and WHEREAS, the applicant has requested in a letter dated September 2, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning September 3, 1993, that the rezoning be extended for one year. The letter notes that a plat was submitted to Planning and Zoning on May 24, 1993, and WHEREAS, this is the first Extension of Time for the property, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on October 13, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the Extension of Time for a " zone change based on the following: (;.~<;~ .,.,.,/ ,0. ~ ~ .. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution No. 92-237. 2. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being July 6, 1994. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 17, 1993, and posted October 14, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1993, approved this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
