RESOLUTION NO. 93-307
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AS-BUILT IMPROVEMENT PLANS
AND RELEASE OF ALL REMAINING FINANCIAL ASSURANCES FOR MOON RIDGE,
TRACT 4119-A, BEING A PORTION OF THE SE~, SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 19
NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MORAVE VALLEY AREA,
MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held November 1, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for the
as-built improvement plans and release of all remaining financial
assurances in the above referenced subdivision,> and
WHEREAS, the owner/subdivider of this tract is Joe Van
Mouwerik, Redlands, California. The engineer of record on this
project is John Proffit, P. E., Mohave Engineering Associates,
Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the subdivision is located next to Tierra Del Rio
Subdivision, and access is via El Rodeo Road on Joy Lane, east to
Mountain View, then to Hammer Lane, then one-quarter mile east to
Moon Ridge, and
WHEREAS, this subdivision is being constructed on a 30-acre
parcel of land. This subdivision consists of 99 residential lots
varying in size from 8,800 square feet to 13,000 square feet, and
WHEREAS, this phase consists of 14 acres subdivided into 45
single family residential lots, and
WHEREAS, the water will be supplied by Bermuda Water
Company, electric power by Mohave Electric Cooperative, and
telephone service by Citizens Utilities Company. Sewage
disposal will be provided by individual on-site septic systems,
and natural gas by Southwest Gas. Fort Mohave Mesa Fire
Department will be providing fire protection for this project,
c and private carrier will be providing the solid waste (garbage)
disposal to Mohave Valley Landfill, and

WHEREAS, the Mohave County Engineer, Harold J. Ganyo, P.E.,
in a letter dated September 23, 1993, received by Planning and
Zoning on September 23, 1993, states, "All improvements have been
completed by the developer. As-built plans, certifications and
required reports have been submitted. The improvements have been
inspected and substantially conform to the plans, specifications,
and County Standards," and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on October 13, 1993, the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of
this request for an acceptance of the As-Built Improvement Plans
and Release of all remaining financial Assurances, and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing has been completed and
published throughout this subdivision process as required by
Arizona Revised Statutes and Mohave County Regulations, and the
public was afforded notice of this action through advertisement
of the Board of Supervisors meeting for this date.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 1993, approved
the As-Built Plans and Release of all remaining financial
Assurances for Moon Ridge, Tract 4119-A, as recommended by the
Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission, subject to the
conditions outlined herein.
