RESOLUTION NO. 93-277 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR PERMIT FOR AN ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION FACILITY (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE ON A PORTION OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, LOCATED MORAVE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. A ZONING USE IN AN A-R THE SW~ OF IN THE SOUTH WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held October 4, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time on the above described property to Citizens Utilities Company of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, Section 6 is located approximately five miles south of Bullhead Ci ty ~ s southernmost border and approximately two miles east of Highway 95. The subject property is accessed from Highway 95 via Boundary Cone Road east approximately two and one- half miles to the alignment of Girard Avenue, thence south approximately 600 feet to the subject site, and WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is still vacant, with no improvements in connection to the establishment of the electrical substation, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on January 7, 1991, per Resolution Number 92-292 to Thomas Ferry, Division Manager, Citizens Utilities Company, and WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time for one year. The applicant has stated in a letter received by Planning and Zoning July 15, 1993, that the company has retained a consulting engineering firm to determine the suitability of the site for construction of the substation and, if suitable, to design the station, and WHEREAS, this request is the first Extension of Time for this zoning Use Permit, and . . .J I RESOLUTION NO. 93-277 Page 2 " ..,.,:'i ~.: ~ 't<7 ..../ WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 8, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Extension of Time subject to the following conditions: 1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution No. 92-292. 2. A site plan in accordance with Section 27.P, prior to submittal of Building Permits. 3. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being September 8, 1994. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 19, 1993, and posted September 17, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
