PAGE 1 OF 2 "OHAVE COUHTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 93-276 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING OF LOT 113, BERMUDA PLANTATIONS UNIT 2, FROM R-E (RESIDENTIAL RECREATION) ZONE TO C-2/25M (GENERAL COMMERCIAL/TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MORAVE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held October 4, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time on the above described property to J.P. & Mary Gerami of Garden Grove, California, and WlIEREAS, Bermuda Plantations Unit 2 is located approximately 13 miles south of Bullhead City in the vicinity of Needles, California. The subject property can be accessed from Highway 95 via Harbor Avenue, south approximately three-quarter mile to the southeast corner of Harbor Avenue and Vacation Drive, which this parcel occupies, and WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is still vacant, with no improvements in connection to the establishment of a commercial business, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on January 7, 1991, per Resolution No. 91-8 to J.P. and Mary Gerami, Robert Stephens and Leonard J. and Mary T. Mallis, all of Garden Grove, California, and WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time for one year to have the opportunity to complete the project. The applicant has stated in a letter dated July 14, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning July 16, 1993, that -the previous year was not a good year economically and the sewer system is not yet within the area, and WHEREAS, this request is the second Extension of Time for this zone change. The first Extension of Time was approved by the Board of Supervisors per Resolution No. 92-183, which granted the Extension of Time to February 7, 1993, and ..... . f~ .<:.:;:.:,.:.'>.,.",. '. . RESOLUTION NO. 93-276 Page 2 WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 8, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Extension of Time subject to the following conditions: 1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution Nos. 91-8 and 92-183. 2. A site plan in accordance with Section 27.P, prior to submittal of Building Permits. 3. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being February 7, 1994. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 19, 1993, and posted September 17, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 4 1993, approved this Extension of Time, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein. ~.
