A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A ZONING USE
PERMIT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MOBILE HOME PARK IN AN A-R
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, ON A PORTION OF THE NW~ OF
SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, LOCATED IN THE'
ARIZONA STRIP AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held October 4, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time on the above described property to James
Stoddard of Littlefield, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located approximately 400
feet west of old Highway 91 in the Beaver Dam Area. Access is
provided by an existing 50-foot gravel right-of-way easement, and
WHEREAS, there is currently one home and several mobile
homes on the property, with the remainder of the parcel being
vacant. Surrounding land is vacant to the north and east, with
residential homes to the south and west, and
WHEREAS, this zoning Use Permit was conditionally approved
by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors June 1, 1992, per
Resolution No. 92-177, to James F. Stoddard of Littlefield,
Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the mobile home park plan for Virgin Mountain
Estates Mobile Home Park was approved by the Board of Supervisors
per Resolution No. 93-27, February 1, 1993, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time
for one year to have the opportunity to begin construction of the
project. The applicant has stated in a letter received by
Planning and Zoning July 26, 1993, that approval by ADEQ has not
yet been granted, and
WHEREAS, this is the first Extension of Time requested for
this zoning Use Permit, and

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on September 8, 1993, the
Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Extension of
Time subject to the following conditions:
1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution
No. 92 -17 7 .
2. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being
June 1, 1994.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, September 19, 1993, and posted September
17, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, October 4 1993, approved this
Extension of Time, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and zoning Commission and outlined herein.
