A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING
OF THE W~ OF LOT 44, SUNWEST ACRES, TRACT 1027, FROM A-R/10A
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, TO A-
R/3A AND A-R/4A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/THREE AND FOUR ACRE
MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on September 7, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time for the above described property owned by Al
Haley of Golden Valley, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, Section 19 is located approximately one and three-
quarter miles south of Highway 68 and approximately six miles
west of the Highway 68 and 93 junction. The subject property is
accessed from Highway 68 via Colorado Road south approximately
one and three-quarter miles to Redwall Drive, thence west
approximately one-half mile to Ligurta Road, thence south
approximately 1,050 feet to the northwest corner of the subject
property, and
WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is still vacant,
and no parcel plat has been recorded to allow the division of the
property, and
WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the
Mohave County Board of Supervisors on March 9, 1992, per BOS
Resolution No. 92-238, to Al Haley, President of Specialty Sales~
Inc. of Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time
for one year to submit and record a parcel plat. The applicant
has stated in a letter dated July 7, 1993, and received by
Planning and Zoning July 8, 1993, that a surveyor was hired and
paid to complete a Parcel Plat; however, a plat was never
submitted to the Planning and Zoning Department. The applicant
would like the additional year to have the Parcel Plat recorded
to meet the conditions of the resolution, and
WHEREAS, this request is the first Extension of Time for
this rezoning, and

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on August 11, 1993, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL of the request for an Extension of Time
subject to the following conditions:
1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution
No. 92-72.
2. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being
March 9, 1994.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the notice of hearing was
published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, and posted as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 1993 APPROVED
this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
