PAGE 1 OF 2 nOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ht " MICROFItMED ~ #3 RESOLUTION NO. 93-253 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING OF LOT 1, BLOCK B, GOLDEN VALLEY RANCHES #14, SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL- RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, TO A-R/1A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on September 7, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property owned by Josephine Parkhurst of Golden Valley, Arizona, and WHEREAS, Section 27 is located approximately two and three- quarter miles south of Highway 68 and approximately ten miles west of the Highway 93 and 68 junction. The subject property is accessed from Highway 68 via Estrella Road south approximately two and three-quarter miles to Bolsa Drive, thence west approximately 800 feet to the northeast corner of the property, and WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is still vacant, and no parcel plat has been recorded to allow the division of the property, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 6, Resolution No. 92-238 to Josephine Parkhurst and of Kingman, Arizona, and approved by the 1992, per BOS Rosemarie Letze WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time for one year to submit and record a parcel plat. The applicant has stated in a letter dated June 29, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning July 1, 1993, that they would like the additional time to acquire the necessary funding to hire a surveyor and record a parcel plat to comply with the conditions required by the resolution, and WHEREAS, this request is the first Extension of Time for this rezoning, and , - / "'- r---. Zoning Commission on August 11, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request for an Extension of Time subject to the following conditions: 1. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution No. 92-238. 2. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being July 6, 1994, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, and posted as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 1993 APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
