C' '~) ~~ - \ ~ BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION COUNTY OF MOHAVE ST1~TE OF ARIZONA In the Matt:er of a Recommendation Regarding t:he Abandonment of a Guy or Anchor Easement located on Lots 26 and 27, Block 207, New Kingman Addition #11, Tract 1104, located in the Kingman area Resolution P&ZC: 88-160 WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission held in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in Arnold Plaza, 315 Oak Street, Kingman, Arizona on September 14, 1988 there was discussed a request to abandon the guy or anchor easement on Loots 26 and 27, Block 207, New Kingman Addition Ill, Tract 1104, and WHEREAS, Lots 26 and 27 are located approximately ~ mile east of Stockton Hill Road, are we,st of and adjoining Kinf;pnan Super Salon along the north side of Northern Avenue, and WHEREAS, Lots 26 and 27 are combined as one (1) building site and are currently vac43mt, and WHEREAS, New Kingmam )l~ddition *11, Tract 1104 was recorded in April, 1972. The subdivision plan depicts east-west public utility easements in Block 207 which were intended to contain electric, "telephone faci.lities and water lines, and WHERE,!\.8, several lots in the block contain guy or anchor easements, and WHERE,P1S, in NovembE!r, 1986 the Board approved the abandonment of a guy-anchor easement on Lots 15, 16 & 17 in Block 207 per Board Resolution 86-89, and WHEREAS, the abandonm€!nt of t~he guy-anchor easement woul d facilitate the combination of Lots 26 and 27 as one (I) building site and allow the owner to utilize this portion of the lots for building purposes, and WHEREAS, a review of the records indicates that the utility companies have not used the 6' x 20' guy easement, and WHEREAS, Citizens Utilities have indicated that they have no objection to the abandorunent of this guy easement, and -' - NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Commission, at their meeting on Wednesday, Sl3ptember l4, 1988 unanimously recommended approval of this abandonment, and further recommended that the Board approve the same, and WHEREAS, the notice for this public eharing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in the County Seat on September 18 and 25, 1988 and was posted as required by Arizona RevisE'd Statut~es and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and . NOW THEREFORE, be it further resolved that the Board, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 3, 1988 approved this abandonment as recommended by the Commission and outlined herein.
