RESOLUTION # 97-53
WHEREAS,the Mohave County Board of Supervisors met in Regular Session on this 3rd
day of February, 1997, and
WHEREAS,Mohave County Board of Supervisors has determined that it would be in the
best interest of the citizens of Mohave County to enter into Agreement, and
WHERE:AS, Arizona Department of Commerce and Mohave County have entt~red into a
Contract awarding FY 1994 HOME and STATE HOUSING TRUST FUND Program to Mohave
County for the purpose of providing Tenant-Based Rental Assistance to low-income residents in
Mohave County, and
WHEREAS,Mohave County is requesting Budget and Scope of Work revision to Contract
# 108-95 which will increase the HOME and HOUSING TRUST FUND grant funds, and
WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Agreement was made by and between the State of
Arizona, Department of Commerce, pursuant to A.R.S. 41-1505, A.R.S. 41-1512 and Title II
(HOME Investment Partnership Act) of the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990 and Mohave
County, pursuant to A.R.S. 11-952, and
WHEREAS, Mohave County is empowered by A.R.S. 11-952, to enter into Agreements and
Acting by and through its Board of Supervisors has resolved to approve Contract Amendment #1
of the Intergovernmental Agreement, and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mohave Count approve Contract Amendment
# 1 to Contract # 108-95 as stipulated in the: Intergovemmental Agreement between State of Arizona,
Department of Commerce and Mohave County.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of February, 1997.
