RESOLUTION NO. 97-78
WHERE:AS, the Board of Supenrisors ofMohave County met in Regular Session this day
10th day of March 1997, and
WHERE:AS, Mohave County Board of Supervisors has determined that it would be in the
best interest of the citizens of Mohave County to enter into an Agreement, and
WHERl~AS, Mohave County has been awarded $531,700 from the Community
D(:velopment Block Grand (CDBG) Program under Commerce Contract #115-97 for the following
activities:
1. General Administration
2. Water System Improvements/rvlt. Tipton Vvater Co.
3. Grapevine Mesa Fire District Fire Station
4. Lake Havasu City Senior Center

WHERE:AS, through the Intergovernmental Agreement. Mohave County agrees to receive
the CDBG funds: and to comply with the state and federai requirements of CDBG Program, and
WHERE~AS, the Intergovernmental Agreement is made by and between the State of Arizona,
D(:partment of Commerce, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 41-1504 B (2) (5) and Mohave County,
pursuant to A.R.S. Section 11-952, and
WHERE:AS, Mohave County is empowered by A.R.S. Section 11-952, to enter into
agreements and acting by and through its Board of Supervisors has resolved to ent'er into an
agreement, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOIJVED that Mohave County enter into an Agreement to
receive Community Development Block Grant funds as set forth in the attached Intergovernmental
Agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED AND AnOPTED this 10th day of March 1997.
