OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOI~ H OF 'iUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE O.U Street Maintenance WHEREAS, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on August 5, 1996 accepted a letter of petition requesting that a certain street in Rio Palmas Unit 1 and Unit 2B be accepted into the Mohave County Road System for maintenance; and WHEREAS, a public meeting was held on July 21, 1997 in the Supervisor's Chambers at which time the request to accept was discussed and considered by the Board; and WHEREAS, no one appeared to object and no written statements of objection opposing the granting of the request of said petition were received; and WHEREAS, an investigation has been made by the County Engineer, and County Attorney who have reported to the Board that the design and construction of the street complies with Article 4.11 of the Subdivision and Road Maintenance Regulations of Mohave County, Arizona, for paved roadways wherein it was established that; A. The right-of-way was properly established when Rio Palmas Unit 1 and Unit 28 were recorded on or about September 25, 1959 and May 25, 1960. 8. The street has been proper laid out, opened and constructed without cost to the County within the confines of the right-of-way and in accordance with the specifications outlined in said Article 4.11. . . . C. The streets are connected to public roadways by at lease one road or street meeting the requirements for permanent access as defined by statute. WHEFtEAS, after a revIew of the request, reports and recommendations regarding this matter, the Board of Supervisors as of this date does accept into the Mohave County Road System, for the purpose of maintenance, the listed, described, established and defined street within the recorded subdivisions of Rio Palrnas Unit 1 and Unit 2B. Gardner Road - Beginning 305 feet east from its intersection with Lvnn Drive, extending easterly 330 1Feet. only to the degree of improvement (SS No.1 01.1 OA paved roadways) at which they are now accepted by the County and that Public Funds may be expended for the maintenance of the street herein described if and when a public need exists for such maintenance.
