RESOl,IJTION NO. 97- 291
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON COLLEGE
DRIVE FROM STOCKTON HILL ROAD TO JAGERSON AVENUE.
MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS~, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in regular session on August
4,1997; and
WHEREAS, A.R.S. ~~ 28-627, 28-643 and 28-855 authorize local authorities to place and
maintain traffic control devices on stre~:ts and highways under their jurisdiction as deemed
necessary to regulate, warn or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS~, a Traffic Safety Committee was (~stablished to review the warrants and make
recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for establishing traffic control devices within Mohave
County; and
.
WHEREAS!. the Traffic Safety Committee has reviewed the circumstances surrounding the
warrants for posting traffic control devic~s on certain roads as presented herein; and
WHEREAS!. the Traffic Safety Committee has made its recommendation for the posting of
traffic control devices on such roads,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is hereby
directed by the Board of Supervisors to place the following traffic control devices as recommended
by the Traffic Safety Committee:
Post 30 MPH speed limit on College Drive from Stockton Hill Road to Jagerson Avenue. North
Kingman Area, Mohave County, Az.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on August 4!, 1997.
