RESOLUTION NO. 95- 432
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF POSTED SPEED LIMIT
SIGNS FROM CERTAIN ROADS IN MOHA VE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in regular session on
October 2, 1995; and
WHEREAS, A.R.S. ~~ 28-627, 28-643 and 28-855 authorize local authorities to
place and maintain traffic control devices on streets and highways under their jurisdiction as
deemed necessary to regulate, warn or guide traffiCj and
WHEREAS, a Traffic Safety Committee was established to review the warrants and
make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for establishing traffic control devices
within Mohave County; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has reviewed the cfrcumstances surrounding
the warrants for the removal of previously established traffic control devices on certain roads
as presented herein; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has made its recommendation for the
removal of such previously established traffic control devices on such roads,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works Is
hereby directed by the Board of Supervisors to remove the following traffic control devices
as recommended by the Traffic Safety Committee:
Removal of posted speed limited signs from Hackberry
Road, Alamo Road, the Primitive portion of Antares
Road, and the unpaved portion of D W Ranch Road.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on October 2, 1995.
