RESOLUTION NO. 95-433 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County, met in Regular Session this 2nd day of October, 199:5, and WHEREAS, on May 8, 1989, the Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors requested the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) to perform a study and implement an integrated local flood warning for the County's major urban area, and WHEREAS, on October 19, 1992, the County Board of Supervisors committed to share in a Flood Warning System Feasibility Study in conjunction with ADWR, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors has determined that it would be in the best interest ~md safety of the citizens ofMohave County to enter into an agreement with Arizona Department ofVVater Resources (ADWR) for a Mohave County Flood Warning System, and WHEREAS, the State of Arizona JlS empowered by 28-108, Arizona Revised Statutes to enter into agreements and acting by and through its Department of Water Resources, and WHEREAS, Mohave County is empowered by Section 11-951, Arizona Revised Statutes to enter into agn~ements and acting by and through its Board of Supervisors has resolv(~d to enter into an agreement, and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County has resolved to enter into an agreement, and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors hereby approves an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Arizona Department of Water Resources and hereby authorizes Pat Holt, Chairman ofthe Mohave County Board of Supervisors to sign the Intergovernmental Agreement and any amendments and/or modifications thereto on behalf of Mohave County.
