RESOLUTION-9.5..- 68
WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in regular session this 6th day
of February, 1995, and
WHEREAS, Arizona Revised Statutes No. 28-627,No. 28-643 and No. 28-855 authorize local
authorities to place and maintain traffic control devices upon streets and highways under their
jurisdiction as they deem necessary to regulate, warn or guide traffic, and
WHEREAS, A Traffic Safety Committee was established to review the warrants and make
recommendations to the Mohave County Board of Supervisors for establishing traffic control
devices within Mohave County, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has reviewed the circumstances surrounding the
warrants for establishing traffic control devices as presented herein, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety Committee has made its recommendation for the establishing of
said traffic control devices.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is hereby
directed by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors to place the following traffic-control
devices as recommended by the Traffic Safety Committee:
FORT MORAVE MESA AREA.
Adopt the attached stop sign study for the subdivisions of Mairlyn Acres (Tr.120l), Fort
Mohave Mesa Ranchos, Silver Sands Estates (Tr.4080, and Las Estancias (Tr.1199). (T. 19 N.,
R.22W., Sec.26) and that the Department of Public Works is directed to place traffic control
devices as proposed in the stop sign study.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED This 6th day of February, 1995.

RECOMMENDED TRAFFIC CONTROL INSTALLATION
Based on an engineering study completed 01-18-94, the following is a list of recommended
locations for installation of stop signs:
LOCATION: One square mile in the Ft. Mohave area, Mohave County, Arizona that
includes the residential areas of Mairlyn Acres (Tr.120 I), Fort Mohave Mesa Ranchos, Silver
Sands Estates (Tr. 4080), and Las Estancias (Tr.1199). (T.19N.,R.22W.,Sec.26)
