RESOLUTION NO. 95-71
WIIEHEAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in Regular Session
this 6th day of February, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of the State of Arizona, has executed
Administrative Order No. 94-37 'which states that all courts, including appellate,
superior, justice of the peace, and municipal courts, shall automate business
functions by December 31, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Mohave County Court System has determined a single county
wide solution, and all courts within the County will use the same authorized
solution as approved by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court and submitted to
the Arizona Supreme Court Commission on Technology for comment on September
8, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Presiding .Judge of the Mohave County Superior Court has
initiated efforts to comply with Administrative Order 94-37 by ::md though
Intergovernmental Agreement with all municipalities in Mohave County; amd
WHEREAS, The Board authorizes Joan C. Ward, Chairman - Mohave County
Board of Supervisors, to sign this resolution on behalf of Mohave County.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mohave County Board of Supervisors requests the
Presiding ,Judge of the Superior Court in Mohave County to submit a State .Judicial
Collection Enhancement Fund (JCEF) Application to the Supreme Court of the State
of Arizona in the amount of $235,256 to support FY 95-96 costs to support said
automated solution for the superior court and justice courts in Mohave County.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1995.
