I WHEREAS, in October 1990, Mohave County has bee9 awarded $75,000 from the Department of Commerce, Office of,1 Housing Development I Housing Trust Fund Program to estab1ish the Homebuyers Assistance Program for Mohave County i Housing Authority, and ' , I WHEREAS, the program is designed to provide up tp 50% of the downpayment costs required for the purchase of a [tome for low-income families, and I WHEREAS, the influx of families desiring to own a house this program, and , applications from lqw-income required additional fpnds for WHEREAS, in June 1992, staff requested from the Department of Commerce to assist a through December 31, 1992, and I I , , addi tion~l funds few more ,families I the Intergov~rnmental is issuing adlditional WHEREAS, through Amendment #1 of Agreement, Arizona Department of Commerce award of $25,000 to Mohave County, and WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Agreement was mad~ by and between the State of Arizona, Department of Commerce, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 41-1504 B (2)(5) and Mohave County, pur uant to A.R.S. Section 11-952, and i I WHEREAS, Mohave County is empowered by A.R.S. SeCtiOn 11- 952, to enter into agreements and acting by and thr ugh its Board of Supervisors has resolved to approve Amendment # of the Intergovernmental Agreement, and i I THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Mohave County I approve Amendment #1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement ~I between Department of Commerce and Mohave County and agree to re eive to the additional award of $25,000 for the Homebuyers As istance Program.
