HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-044 I I I RESOLUTION NO. 92-44 A RESOLUTION BY THE MOHA VE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS; AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRlVlAN TO SIGN THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENrl' WITH THE CITY OF KINGMAN, ARIZONA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREPAHING, ADOPTING, AND IMPLEMENTING A JOINT DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE AREA SURROUNDING KINGMAN, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the Regular meeting of the Mohave County of Supervisors held February 3, 1992, a public hearing was cunducted to determine whether the Board should enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Kingman, Arizona for the purpose of preparing, adopting, and implementing a joint development plan for the area surrounding Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the Arizona Revised Statutes 9-461.11 to 9-461.12 authorizes the City and County to enter into an intergovernmental agreement to jointly plan for and administer the development of the County in an area known as the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction outside the corporate limits of the City of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors finds it beneficial to enter into the "AGREEMENrr" as passed and approved by the Common Council of the City of Kingman on the 20th day of January, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign the Intergovernmental agreement on behalf of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors.
