HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-141 I I I RESOLUTION NO. 91-141 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in Regular Session this 1st day of May, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Airport Authority, Inc. leases the Bullhead/Laughlin Airport from Mohave County for management purposes; and WHEREAS, Mohave County Airport Authority, Inc. executed a sublease with Bullhead Airport, Inc. to manage and operate the Bullhead/Laughlin Airport on November 3, 1988; and WHEREAS, Mohave County as the Sponsor and Mohave County Airport Authority, Inc" as the lead agency, accepted federal funds to construct a new airport fadli ty at the Bullhead/Laughlin Airport; and WHEREAS, Bullhead Ailport, Inc. desires to relinquish management control of the new Bullhead/Laughlin Airport through an amendment of the existing sublease dated November 3, 1988. WHEREAS, Mohave County Airport Authority, Inc. desires to amend the existing sublease dated November 3, 1988 with Bullhead Airport, Inc. to comply with all Federal Aviation Administration grant assurances and accept management control of the new Bullhead/Laughlin Airport; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mohave County Board of Supervisors accepts and approves the Consent and Attornment Agreement between Mohave County Airport, Inc. and Bullhead Airport, Inc., contingent upon the following conditions: 1. The amended lease shall be forwarded to the Federal Aviation Administration for review comments and/or recommended changes; and, 2. Comments and/or recommended changes as required by the Federal Aviation Administration to assure complete compliance with all federal grant assurances shall be incorporated within the lease; and, 3. The First Amendment and Restatement of Lease between Mohave County Airport Authority, Inc. and Bullhead Airport, Inc. is executed by the respective representatives of both corporations.
