WHEREAS, the purpose of this evaluation is to determine whether approval should be granted for a rezone for the above described property to owner Hazel Hadley of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located Ferry Road and west of Highway 93. directly from Highway 93, and two miles north of pierce The property is accessed WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of an auto salvage yard to the north along Highway 93 and a few scattered residences. The majority of land directly surrounding the parcel is vacant, and WHEREAS, a garage on the site is being used for an auto repair and towing business. There are also a site-built home and a travel trailer, with an assortment of scattered debris and auto parts throughout the parcel, aIld WHEREAS, the applicant is applying for C-MO zoning to permit all auto impound yard, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map *040058-1775B indicates this parcel is located in zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and before the Mohave County February 9 , 1994 , the a rezone subject to the WHEREAS, at the public hearing Planning and Zoning Commission on Commission recommended APPROVAL for following: 1.
