A RESOI,U'l'ION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AS-BUILT IMPROVEMENT PLANS
AND RELEASE OF ALL REMAINING FINANCIAL ASSURANCES FOR SUNRISE
VISTAS, TRACT 4l08-A, BEING A PORTION OF THE SWl.!, SEe'rION 111,
'fOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOU'fH MOHAVE
VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held March 1, 1994, a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be granted for the approval
of as-built improvement plans and the release of all remaining
financial assurances for SUNRISE VISTAS, Tract 4108-A, and
WIIEREl\S, the owner/subdivider of this tract is Vanderslice
80, Sherman Oaks, California; B&R Development, Fort Mohave,
Arizona; and Alexander/Catalina Development, Inc. , Azusa,
C-,": California. The engineer of record on this project is Mohave
Engineering Associates, Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and

WHEREAS, the Mohave County Engineer, Harold J. Ganyo, P.E.,
in a letter dated January IS, 1994, states, "All improvements
have been completed by the developer. As-buil t plans,
certifications and required reports have been submitted. The
improvements have been inspected and substantially conform to the
plans, specifications, and County Standards." Exception: Final
acceptance letter for electric installation is pending due to
remaining payment for increased construction costs. Final
payment and letter is expected prior to Commission meeting, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ganyo recommended "Placement on the planning
and Zoning Commission Agenda for the approval of the As-Built
Plans and release of all assurances.", and
WHEREAS, in a second letter from Mr. Harold Ganyo dated
February 3, 1994, Mr. Ganyo states: "The letter of release for
electrical installation for the above referenced development is
attached. This letter satisfies this Department's previous
concerns for acceptance of As-Built Plans and release of all
financial assurance.", and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on February 9, 1994, the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the
As-Built Plans and release of all assurances, and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, J.n Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on February 13, 1994, as required by the
Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning
Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 1, 1994, approved the
As-Built plans for Sunrise Vistas, Tract 410S-A, and the release
of all assurances as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission.
