PAGE 1 OF 1 MOHAVE COUHTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDlkG fEE O.DO He " \"",":.~~::~::,]~};Y RESOLUTION NO. 94-54 A RESOLU'rION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF A 75-FOOT ROADWAY BASEMENT RUNNING NORTH TO SOUTH ON PARCEL 90, SUNWARD HOl RANCHES, ORO ACRES, SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, IN THE LONG MOUNTAIN PORTION OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. .- WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February 1, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a roadway abandonment on the above described property to owner Roger Sayles of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the site of the abandonment is located approximately three miles north of the Butler area and east of Stockton Hill Road. The site is accessed from Stockton Hill Road via Cactus Wren Road, east to Cherum Road, north three-quarter mile to the subject abandonment site, and WHEREAS, this 75-foot roadway easement begins just north of the intersection of Cherum Road and Calle Castano, and runs northerly through a number of separately owned properties to its ending point at the intersection of CherUffi Road and Calle Alamo. Cherum Road does not connect from north to south because of the topography of the area. This easement looped around the base of the mountain to connect Cherum Road from north to south. The easement is not being used and has not been bladed or improved in any way for vehicle use, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2155B indicates that the property is within Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and WHEREAS, access from north to south in the area is by Avenida Remirez which lies one-half mile east of Cherum Road. The abandonment of this easement would not landlock any parcels. Ranches, Oro Acres, Section 6, Township 22 North, Range 16 West, be abandoned. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, January 16, 1994, and posted January IS, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesd~y, February 1, 1994, APPROVED this Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
