RESOLUTION NO, 94-9 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF A PORTION OF THE ~F LOT 259, SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM A-R/I0A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE AND C2-H (GENERAL COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE) TO C-MO (COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURING/OPEN LOT STORAGE) ZONE, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on January 18, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a rezone for the above described property, and WHEREAS, the property is located south of Highway 68 and eight and one-half miles west of the intersection of Highways 68 and 93. The parcel can be accessed directly from Highway 68, and WHEREAS, land uses adjacent to the property consist of residential homes to the east and west, a gravel pit and vacant land to the south. The surrounding area is primarily vacant with a residential subdivision to the north and a commercial business to the west, and WHEREAS, there is a warehouse building on the northern portion of the site and a newspaper printing plant on the southern portion accessed by a 50-foot roadway on the east side of the property, and WHEREAS, the area is located within the Urban/Building Overlay Zone and the Golden/Sacramento Valley Area Plan, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing be~ore the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission On December 8, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a reZOne subject to the following: 2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained. ... . . RESOLUTION NO.PAte92 3. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 4. The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS 11-829E. MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, December 19, 1993, and posted December 17, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 18, 1994, APPROVED this rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein, ATTEST: Sam Standerfer, Chairman Pat Chastain, Clerk
