A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF AN OFF-PREMISE SIGN IN A C-2H (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE) ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE S~, NW\ OF
SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, IN THE ARIZONA STRIP
AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS [ ; WlOCl'liE! Q;egular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on January 3, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a
Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to applicant
Kunz Outdoor Advertising of San Bernardino, California, and
WHEREAS,

the property is located directly south
and is accessed from I-IS via the Farm Exit to
Road and Desert Springs Road, and
of
the
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-0025B indicates
this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding,
and
WHEREAS, land uses surrounding this parcel consist of
soattered residential homes, the local fire station, a retail
plant nursery directly south, and a few commercial businesses
along I-IS with the remainder of the area being vacant, and
WHEREAS, the zoning for the parcel was approved in April,
1992, per BOS Resolution No. 92-94, and an Extension of Time was
granted per BOS Resolution No. 93-271. One of the conditions of
the rezoning was the recordation of a Parcel Plat. The plat has
been submitted and is being processed by the Planning and Zoning
Department, and

2. The app~icant comply with all app~icable provisions of
the MOhave County Zoning Regulations.
3. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and
floodplain permits be obtained,
4. If construotion or use has not commenced wi thin one
year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if
the use has been discontinued for six months, then
approval shall terminate at that date.
5. This Zoning Use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60
days notifioation by the Board of Supervisors if, in
the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued
use of the property would be contrary to the public
health, safety, and welfare.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general oirculation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, December 19, 1993, and posted December
~7, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the MOhave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, January 3, 1994, APPROVED
this Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning CommiSSion and outlined herein,
