PAGE i OF 1 MOHA~E COU~rY BOARD UF SUPERVISORS RECDRDI~G FEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 94-191 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF AS-BUILT IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND RELEASE OF ALL REMAINING FINANCIAL ASSURANCES FOR CHAPARRAL MESA, TRACT 3042-A, A SUBDIVISION WITHIN A PORTION OF THE N~ OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE NORTH KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held June 6, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for approval of AS-built Plans and the release of all remaining financial Assurances for Chaparral Mesa, Tract 3042-A, and WHEREAS, the owner/subdivider of this tract is William Nugent Construction, an Arizona corporation. The engineer of record on this project is Stovall Engineers Inc., Bullhead City, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located on the north side of Thompson Avenue, one-half mile west of Highway 66, north of Ames Avenue and east of Norrie Drive. The primary access for this subdivision is Thompson Avenue, and WHEREAS, this phase consists of 20 single family residential lots averaging approximately 6,400 square feet constructed on a three-plus-acre parcel of land, and WHEREAS, the water and sewage disposal is supplied by the City of Kingman, electric power and telephone service by Citizens Utilities Company. Hualapai Valley Fire Department provides fire protection for this project, and private carrier provides the solid waste (garbage) disposal to the Mohave County Landfill, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Engineer, Harold J. Ganyo, P.E., in a letter dated March 24, 1994, states: "All improvements have been completed by the developer. As-built plans, certifications and required reports have been submitted. The improvements have been inspected and substantially conform to the plans, specifications, and County Standards." RESOLUTION NO. 94-191 Page 2 .. . . . Mr. Ganyo' s recommendations: .. Placement on the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda for review and recommendation for acceptance of all improvements and approval of the As-Built Plans and the release of all remaining Financial Assurances.", and WHEREAS, at a public hearing on May 11, 1994, the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended Approval of the acceptance of As-built Plans and authorized the release of all remaining Financial Assurances, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on May 22, 1994, as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 6, 1994, APPROVED the acceptance of As-built Plans and authorized the release of all remaining Financial Assurances for Chaparral Mesa, Tract 3042-A, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission.
