"':':,','i:?fj;\!/ MICROFILMED RESOLUTION NO. 94-187 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REQUEST TO RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. 77-36 FOR A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR A PORTION OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, KNOWN AS TRIANGLE AIR PARK, TRACT 3004, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 6, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to rescind a Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to walt Stout, Director, Boulder City Aero Club of Las Vegas, Nevada, and WHEREAS, the Boulder City Aero Club applied for a Zoning Use Permit (ZUP) to establish a private airport in the NW~, E~, SW~ of Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 21 west. This airport was originally established by a zoning Use Permit issued in March of 1977 per Resolution P&ZC: 77-36, and WHEREAS, in December of 1981, per Resolution P&ZC: 81-231, a Preliminary Subdivision was approved for a planned uni t development to be known as Triangle Air Park, Tract 3004. This subdivision was recorded in April of 1984 and amended in August of 1984, and WHEREAS, upon recordation of the subdivision, the Zoning use Permi t, which originally permitted the private airport, was no longer necessary. The subdivision approval included the use of the air strip and the roadways to be used as taxiways, and WHEREAS, the owners of the property would like to have the Zoning Use Permit rescinded because one of the conditions of the Zoning Use Permit states that the permit may be revoked by the Board of Supervisors. This possible revocation has created concern that the use of the airport facilities may be removed. The Areo Club has indicated this condition may limit future sales of the property in the subdivision and may create uncertainties for lending institutions, and . . ~ . . . RESOLUTION NO. 94-187 Page 2 WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 11, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL to rescind Resolution No. P&ZC 77-36. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 22, 1994, and posted May 20, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 6, 1994, APPROVED this resolution recension as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
