WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of of Supervisors held on May 2, 1994, conduoted to determine whether approval rezone for the above described property of Kingman, Arizona, and the Mohave County Board a public hearing was should be granted for a to owner William Mizell WHEREAS, the property is located west of Highway 66 and north of Gordon Drive. The property is accessed from Highway 66 via Gordon Drive, west to Wren Drive, then north to Mallard ,,\.",>; Drive, then east to the property, and WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses oonsist of residential homes to the west and north and commercial businesses to the east and south, and WHEREAS, there are two mobile and scattered debris On the site. chain link fence, and homes, a number of automobiles The site is surrounded by a WHEREAS, the properties to the north, west and south of Mallard Drive are zoned C-2 (General-Commercial) and the property directly east is zoned C-MO (Commercial-Manufacturing Open Lot Storage) . The residential area to the northwest is zoned R-l (Single Family Residential), and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting C-MO zoning to permit open lot storage on the site, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2165C indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and ,'. ,~~ ~;, -:".,:;;"; ,. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained. 3. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 4, The rezone shall not become effective until 30 days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, as per ARS 11-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, April 17, 1994, and posted April 15, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, May 2, 1994, APPROVED this rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
