BEING GOVERNMENT LOTS 3 AND 4 AND THE E~ OF THE SW~ SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held May 2, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the approved Preliminary Subdivision Plan of Sunrise Vistas, Tract 4108, and 6~1 WHEREAS, the owners/developers of this tract are Vanderslice 80, Sherman Oaks, California; B&R Development, Fort Mojave, Arizona; and Alexander/Catalina Development, Inc., Azusa, California. The engineer responsible for the preparation of the drainage report and design of this subdivision is Robert Schuetz, P.E., Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, this the NE corner of Vanderslice, and project is located two miles east of SR 95 on the intersection of Camp Mohave Road and WHEREAS, the plan as submitted and reviewed is a subdivision of 160.3 acres subdivided into 705 single family units and a 2.21-acre "SD-C" (Special Development General Commercial) parcel, There is a parcel set aside for a sewer treatment plant which has been designated as "SD-M". In the event that an agreement is drafted which would move the sewage facility off site, the "SD-M" designation would revert to "SD-C", and WHEREAS, Article 3.10-1 states, "Upon application to the Commission and prior to the expiration of the time limit, extensions in increments of one (1) year may be granted by the Board if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat. Schuetz, P.E., Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc, speaking on behalf of the owner/developer, states: "The Preliminary Plan for this project was approved and One extension granted per Board of Supervisors Resolution 92-382 to November 2, 1993. (P&Z Note: This is incorrect. The BOS meeting was November 2, 1993; the expiration date of the Extension of Time was July 23, 1993.) :;-1:,\ ":~,.~::'~~} Mohave County Board of Supervisors JoanCO~/jAwa~d~~~Aman "As the agent for the developers, I am requesting a second extension for this project. The first phase, Tract 4108-A, has been constructed and the developers are ready to award bids for the second phase.", and WHEREAS, the preliminary plan for this tract was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 23, 1990, via BOS Resolution No. 90-192. The first Extension of Time was granted via BOS Resolution No, 92-382 on November 2, 1992. This will serve as the second and third Extensions of Time for this project, and ~ ('.""'\ ,:'=-:~:.~~- ~'.......' WHEREAS, at a public hearing on April 13, 1994, the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Extension of Time subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with all conditions of BOS Resolution No. 90-192, 2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until July 23, 1995. WHEREAS, notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on April 17, 1994, as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, May 2, 1994, APPROVED the Extension of Time for Sunrise Vistas, Tract 4108, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the conditions outlined herein.
