RESOLUTION NO. 94-105
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF THE NORTH 5 FEET OF
A 30-FOOT ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF PARCEL 3 OF PARCEL PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 81, IN A
PORTION OF THE E~ OF THE SE~OF THE SW\ OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP
19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on April 4, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
abandonment of the above described property to owner Greg Brand
of Phoenix, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the proposed easement is located three miles south
?>. of Bullhead City and east of Highway 95. The property is
t'>:,) accessed from Highway 95 via Joy Lane, then east to an unnamed
.,o",y easement 660 feet west of the mid-section line along Joy Lane,
then north to the proposed abandonment, and
WHEREAS, there is a power line and an unimproved dirt road
on the southern portion of the easement, and
WHEREAS, the power and telephone companies servicing this
parcel have indicated they are not opposed to the proposed
abandonment, and
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-244SC indicates
this parcel is located in Zones Band C. Zone B are areas
between limits of the lOa-year flood and SOO-year flood, and Zone
C an area of minimal flooding, and,
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on March 16, 1994, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL for a rezone subject to the follbwing:
1. That the north S feet of the existing 30-foot roadway
and PUE on the south side of Parcel 3 be abandoned.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, MarCh 20, 1994, and posted March 18,
1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, April 4, 1994, APPROVED this
abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
