RESOLUTION NO. 94-276 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT AND REVERSION TO ACREAGE OF CAL-ARI INDUSTRIAL PARK, TRACT 1094, LOCATED ON A PORTION OF SECTION 13 LYING WEST OF 1-40, SECTION l3, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST IN THE YUCCA PORTION OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an abandonment for the above described property to representative Don Van Brunt of the Mohave County Economic Development Authority Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the site is located south of the Yucca townsite between Interstate 40 and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad right-of-way. The site is accessed from Interstate 40 via the Alamo Road exit, then west to the property, and WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of vacant land wi th residential homes and a few commercial businesses to the north in the Yucca townsite, and WHEREAS, the proposed si te consists of an existing industrial park subdivision (Cal-Ari Industrial Park, Tract l094) and a parcel of large acreage. RESOLUTION NO. 94-276 Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2"h PG 41 (FEE;94-'7000l WHEREAS, the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations indicate in Section 1.12-7 that the application to abandon streets or easements shall be made pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes and shall be carried on separately and simultaneously with any procedure to abandon a subdivision or revert it to acreage. A separate application for the abandonment of the roadways has been submi tted by the MOhave County Economic Development Author! ty, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on July 13, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following: l. That CAL-ARI INDUSTRIAL PARK, Tract 1094, located on a portion of Section l3 lying west of 1-40, Section l3, Township 17 North, Range 18 West, be abandoned and reverted to acreage. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994. as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting On Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
