A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ~~AND..Q~!1.J;:NT OF A 16-FOOT UTILITY
EASEMENT COMMON TO LOTS 251 AND 243, AND LOTS 250 AND 244, EXCEPT
THE SOUTHERNMOST 16 FEET COMMON TO LOTS 243 AND 251, MEADVIEW,
UNIT 9, TRACT 1161, SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST
IN THE MEADVIEW PORTION OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA,
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
abandonment for the above described property to Dennis and Ruth
Ogden, Meadview, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the portion of the easement to be abandoned is
located east of Pierce Ferry Road and north of Sandview Road. and
WHEREAS, there are no utilities within the easement proposed
for abandonment, and
WHEREAS, this abandonment is being requested as a part of
the proposed Ogden RV Park. The easement proposed for
abandonment runs north to south through the center of the park.
The developer is proposing a l6-foot PUE to be conveyed on the
southern and northern boundary of the site. The new easement
will allow the utility company to extend utili ties around the
exterior of the RV park, and
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-l775B indicates
this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding,
and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on July l3, 1994. the CommiSSion
recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following:
1. That the l6-foot PUE easement, beginning l6 feet north
of the southwest corner of Lot 25l, Meadview, Unit 9,
Tract 1161, and the terminus being l6 feet south of Lot
250, Meadview, Unit 9, Tract 1l61, Section 35, Township
30 North, Range 17 West, be abandoned.
2. The abandonment is to be effective upon recordation of
the RV park.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this
abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein,
