PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDIN5 rEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 94-269 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANPONMENT OF THE SOUTHERN 8 FEET OF A ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS CHINO DRIVE BEGINNING ON THE WESTERN EASEMENT BOUNDARY OF ALPINE ROAD, THEN RUNNING WEST AND TERMINATING ON THE WEST BOUNDARY OF PARCEL 306-29-03R, AS SHOWN ON MOHAVE COUNTY ASSESSOR'S MAP DATED JULY 26, 1993, SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA, WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an abandonment for the above described property to Jack and Georgiana Anderson of Golden Valley, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located on Chino Drive, north Of Supai Drive and east of Ajo Road, This land is accessed via Hwy. 68, then north on Aztec Road, then east on Chino Drive to the site, and WHEREAS, there are a few scattered residences to the north, east and south of the site. The rear Of the property is vacant. There is a residence and garage located on the property, and WHEREAS, there are utility lines that border the east side of the property following an east-west direction paralleling Chino Drive, and WHEREAS, Chino Drive has a total width of 100 feet, 50 feet on each side of the section line, and WHEREAS, the owner is in the process of rezoning the property to be able to divide the land into two parcels. The owner is dedicating 42 feet of Chino Drive to Mohave County as a part of the rezoning. The 8 feet of Chino Drive that will remain is being requested for abandonment, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2280C indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and RESOLUTION NO. 94-269 Page 2 . . . . p~GE 2 OF 2 BK 2449 PG 115 (rEE~94-433m WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on July 13, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following: 1. That the southern 8 feet of Chino Drive beginning on the northeast side of the E~. N~, NW\ of parcel 39, and the terminus being the northwest side of the El:i, N~, NW\ of parcel 39, Section lO, Township 2l North, Range l8 West be abandoned. 2. That the 8 feet remain as a drainage and Public Utility Easement. 3. That the 42 feet of extending outward from shall be dedicated, the existing roadway easement the center line of Chino Drive WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
