RESOLUTION NO. 94-262
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT ON LOT 9, BLOCK D,
GOLDEN SHORES, UNIT 1, SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP l6 NORTH, RANGE 21
WEST FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE IN A C-1
(NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL) ZONE, IN THE SOUTH MORAVE AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at. the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held. on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted the purpose of this evaluation is to determine whether
approval should be granted for a Zoning Use Permit for the above
described property to Patty J. Deering of Topock, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located at the southwest corner of
the intersection of Powell Lake Road and Beach Drive. This land
is accessed via County Route 1, then west on Powell Lake Road to
the site, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of residential
homes to the south and west. Land to the nurth and east is
vacant, The site has a residence on premise which requires a
Zoning Use Permit in a C-1 zone. There has never been a Zoning
Use Permit granted for this purpose, and

Planning and Zoning Commission on July 13, 1994 the Commission
recommended APPROVAL for a Zoning Use Permit subject to the
following:
l. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and
floodplain permits be obtained.

3. If construction or use has not commenced wi thin one
year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if
the use has been discontinued for six months, then
approval shall terminate at that date.
4, This Zoning use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60
days notification by the Board of Supervisors if, in
the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued
use of the property would be contrary to the public
health, safety, and welfare,
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this
Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
