A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN E}(rEN.SION OF 'I'JME ....FOR A REZQNE OF
LOTS 11 AND 12, RIO PALMAS, UNIT 1, SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 19
NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, FROM A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) TO C-
MO/1A (COMMERCIAL-MANUFACTURING OPEN LOT STORAGE/ONE ACRE MINIMUM
LOT SIZE) IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time for a rezone for the above described property
to Jack Ehrhardt of Bullhead City, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the land is located west of Highway 95 and south of
Sterling Road, and
WHEREAS. the site is vacant; no improvements have been
completed on the property, and
WHEREAS, the owner has indicated in a letter dated May 19,
1994, that he is furthering his efforts to develop the property
and requests an Extension of Time to fulfill the conditions
required by BOS Resolution No. 92-134, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and zoning Commission on July 13, 1994, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time subject to the
following:
l. Continued compliance with conditions of BOS Resolution
No. 92-134.
2. This Extension Of Time will be in effect until May 4,
1995,
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general cirCulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this
Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.

A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN ~XTENSIO~ OF TIME FOR
THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN OF PALOS VERD~S
ESTATES, TRACT 4131, A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF TH~ NE!:i OF
SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 2l WEST, LOCATED IN THE
SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time for the approved Preliminary Subdivision Plan
of Palos Verdes Estates, Tract 4131, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Global
Financial Services of Torrance, California. The engineer
responsible for the preparation of the drainage report and design
of this SUbdivision is Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc.,
Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this project site is located approximately two and
one-half miles east of Highway 95 on the south side of Joy Lane,
and
WHEREAS, this proposed subdivision consists of approximately
58 acres subdivided into 264 lots ranging in size from 6,000
square feet to 8,143 square feet, to provide an overall density
of 4,52 dwelling units per acre. There is a one-acre parcel
reserved for recreational purposes, and
WHEREAS, Article 3.10 states, "Upon application to the
Commission and prior to the expiration of the time limit,
extensions in increments of one year may be granted by the Board
if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat. If such
action is not taken then all proceedings relating to the plat
shall be terminated.", and
WHEREAS, in a letter dated May 25, 1994, Mr. Joel purcell
advises that he has not been able to obtain the necessary
financing due to the economic climate. He is actively pursuing
backing for the project and hopes to begin construction in the
near future, and
