A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN EXTEN~ION OF T~~E FOR
THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN OF CASA DEL SOL, TRACT
4107, BEING THE NE~ OF THE NW~ OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH,
RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an
Extension of Time for the approved Preliminary Subdivision plan
of Casa Del Sol, Tract 4107, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Joy Lane 40
Limi ted partnership, Scottsdale, Arizona. The engineering firm
responsible for the preparation of the drainage report and design
of this subdivision is Stovall Engineers, Inc., Bullhead City,
Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this project is located three-quarter mile east of
Highway 95 on the south side of Joy Lane, and
WHEREAS, this subdivision consists of 40 acres subdivided
into 127 lots ranging in size from 5,000 square feet to 9,000
square feet, to provide an overall density of 3.l7 lots per acre.
Tract 4107 lies within a designated floodplain A zone, and
WHEREAS, Article 3,10 states, "Upon application to the
Commission and prior to the expiration of the time limit,
extensions in increments of one year may be granted by the Board
if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat. If such
action is not taken then all proceedings relating to the plat
shall be terminated,", and
WHEREAS, in a letter dated May 24, 1994, Sid L.

WHEREAS, the Preliminary Subdivision Plan was approved by
the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 2, 1990, via
Resolution No. 90-167. The first Extension of Time w~s granted
via Resolution No, 92-288. Resolution No, 93-2ll approved the
second Extension of Time. This will be the third Extension of
Time, and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on July l3, 1994, the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the
requested Extension of Time subject to the following:
l, Compliance with all conditions as stated in BOS
ReSOlution No. 90-l67,
2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until July 2,
1995,
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper Of general circulation, in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on July 24, 1994, as required by the
Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning
Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED the
Extension of Time for Cas a Del Sol, Tract 4l07, as recommended by
the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the
conditions outlined herein.
