A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERoMI,T ON A PORTION OF
THE E~, SE~, SE\, SE\, SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 20
WEST FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK IN A C-
2 (GENERAL-COMMERCIAL) ZONE, IN THE LAKE HAVASU AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on August 8, 1994, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a
Zoning use Permit for the above described property to Hi-Way
Haven R.V. Parks, Inc., A. L. Wulfeck, President, Lake Havasu
City, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located west of London Bridge Road
and south of Lake Drive. The land is accessed from London Bridge
Road by a 100-foot public access easement which runs west for
approximately 250 feet, then south to the site, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding land uses consist of a motel to the
east, and vacant land to the south, north and west. There are
commercial businesses along London Bridge Road. There are also
reSidential neighborhoods further north and east, and
WHEREAS, the proposed R. V. park wil1 consist of 23 spaces
divided by a 30-foot roadway. The park will have three
landscaped common areas and a 1600 square foot building
containing a store, laundry and recreation building, and
WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-3110B indicates
this parcel to be in Zone AO, an area of 100-year shallow
flooding where depths are between one and three feet. Base flood
elevations are shown, but nO flOOd hazard factors are determined.
A Floodplain Use Permit is required for development, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on July 13, 1994, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL for a zoning Use Permit subj ect to the
following:
1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

3. If construction or use has not commenced wi thin one
year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if
the use haS been discontinued for six months, then
approval shall terminate at that date.
4. This Zoning Use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60
days notification by the Board of Supervisors if, in
the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued
use of the property would be contrary to the public
health, safety, and welfare.
5. The R-V park shall not be constructed and/or occupied
until park plans have been approved, construction
completed and a satisfactory inspection performed by
the Mohave County Engineer.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, July 24, 1994, and posted July 22, 1994,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 1994, APPROVED this
Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
