WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on June 8, 1994, the Commission
recommended DENIAL for a rezone based on the following:
1. The division would not be consistent with the
surrounding lots in the subdivision.
2. The subdivision has remained as it was originally
established by the subdivider. This lot split would be
the first lot division and may set a precedence for
additional splits in the subdivision.
3. The division of this parcel could become a spot zone in
terms of increased density.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, June 19, 1994, and posted June 20, 1994,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County
zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 1994, DENIED this
rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning
Commission and outlined herein.
