PAGE 1 OF 2 HOHAVE COU~TY BOARD OF SUPERYISORS RECORDI~ FEE 0.00 Nt RESOLUTION NO. 94-213 Vt ~; ( : ref\) , " r;J' '1(1" 83 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF A PORTION OF PARCEL 236, SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FROM R-E (RESIDENTIAL-RECREATION) TO C-2 (GENERAL- COMMERCIAL) IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, 110HAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 5, 1994, a public hearing waS conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for a rezone for the above described property to Owners Harvey and Joann Millerman of Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the property is located on the northeast corner of Stockton Hill Road and Jane Avenue, and WHEREAS, the property is vacant and has not been improved for commercial uses, and WHEREAS, the property was rezoned to commercial in July, 1984, per Resolution No. P&ZC 84-160. Condition number 2 of the resolution indicates that if the business activity has not commenced with proper permits wi thin one year from the date of Board approval or if the business is discontinued for a period of six months, this matter shall be referred back to the Commission and Board of Supervisors to re-evaluate the zoning classification for this parcel, and WHEREAS, the owner of the property has indicated in a letter to the ~:tanning and Zoning Department that the property was purchased on June 1, 1992, as commercial property. The new owners intend to develop the property commercially, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning staff feels this site meets the criteria for a commercial site since the parcel is located along Stockton Hill Road and a major street (Jane Avenue), and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 8, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time subj ect to the following: -, - t' . This Extension of Time will be in effect until July 5, 1995. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 19, 1994, and posted June 20, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 1994, APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
