RESOLUTION NO. 94-210
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR
THE REVISED PRELIMINARY PLAN OF FRIENDLY GOLDEN VALLEY, TRACT
3033, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PARCEL 71, SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 21
NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held July 5, 1994, a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension
of Time for the approved Preliminary Subdivision Plan of Friendly
Golden Valley, Tract 3033, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this project is Friendly
Golden Valley I, an Arizona Limited Partnership, LOS Angeles,
California. The engineering firm responsible for plan
preparation and drainage study is Stadler Consulting Engineers,
Phoenix, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this project is located on the southwest corner of
San Pedro Road and Shipp Drive, one-half mile south of SR 68 in
Golden Valley, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Subdivision Plan depicts 40 acres
divided into 189 lots. The minimum lot size is 5,000 square feet
and the average lot size is 5,495 square feet. The density of
this subdivision is 4.73 lots per acre, and
WHEREAS, a zone change was granted via Board of Supervisors
Resoluti~n~No. 91-105 dated June 3, 1991, and
WHEREAS, water will be supplied by Valley Pioneer Water
Company; electric power and telephone service will be furnished
by Citizens Utilities Company. Fire protection will be provided
by Golden Valley Fire Department. Sewage disposal will be
accommodated via an on-site treatment plant which will be
operated by the homeowners association. Solid waste will be
removed by a private carrier and transported to the Mohave County
Landfill, and

WHEREAS, Article 3.10-1 states, "Upon application to the
Commission and prior to the expiration of the time limit,
extensions in increments of one (1) year may be granted by the
Board if the subdivider is actively processing the Final Plat.
If such action is not taken then all proceedings relating to the
plat shall be terminated," and

2. This Extension of Time will be in effect until June 1,
1995.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation, in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on June 19, 1994, as required by the
Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County zoning
Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 1994, APPROVED the
Extension of Time for Friendly Golden Valley, Tract 3033, as
recommended by the Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission,
subject tcfthe conditions outlined herein.
