RESOLUTION NO. 94-444
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN ABANDONMENT OF THE SOUTHERN 15 FEET OF
RUTHE AVENUE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PARCEL 248-D, THE NORTHERN 20 FEET
OF DELORIS AVENUE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PARCEL 248-F, AND THE EASTERN
EIGHT FEET OF LINGER STREET ON THE WEST SIDE OF PARCELS 248-D, E AND
F, LOCATED IN SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 11 WEST IN THE
MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors held on December 5, 1994, a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be g~anted for an Abandonment for
the described property to Matthias M. and C. patricia Anderson of
Oatman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the property is located approximately one-half mile east
of Stockton Hill Road and north of .Jane Avenue. The land is accessed
from Stockton Hill Road via .Jane Avenue, then east to Linger Street,
then north to the site, and
WHEREAS, the surrounding 1and uses consist of vacant land and
scattered residential homes, and
WHEREAS, this abandonment is related to the Rezone of a portion
of Parcel 248. There are dedications of 35 feet on the north, 42 feet
on the west, and 30 feet on the south boundaries of the parcel, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on November 9, 1994, the Commission recommended
APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following:
1. The southern 15 feet of Ruthe Avenue on the north side of
Parcel 248-D, the northern 20 feet of Deloris Avenue on the
south side of Parcel 248-F, and the eastern eight feet of
Linger Street on the west side of Parcels 248-D, E and F,
located in Section 36, Township 23 North, Range 17 West be
abandoned.
2. The above described abandoned roadway easements shall be
granted as PUEs and DEs complete with 20-foot radius curves
at the northwest and southwest corners.

3. The granting requ.1red by the Rezone resolution shall be
shown on the Parcel Plat and accepted by the Board of
Supervisors upon Parcel Plat recordation.
4. That the proposed abandonment be effective upon Parcel Plat
recordation. .
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily
Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County,
Arizona, November 20, 1994, and posted November 18, 1994, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave COunty Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,
