A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN AMENDMENT TO BOS RESOLUTION 93-321
SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CELLULAR
RADIO TOWER IN AN A-R/36A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/THIRTY-SIX ACRE
MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, IN A PORTXON OF THE NE%, NZ%, SECTION 28,
TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE MEADVIEW PORTION OF
THE MOJlAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOJlAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of
supervisors held on December 5, 1994, a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be granted for an amendment to
the Zoning Use Permit for the above descr:lbed property to Mohave
Cellular, a Limited Partnership of Kingman, Arizona, and

WHEREAS, the site is located south of the Meadview area, west of
Pierce Ferry Road and adjacent to the western boundary of Meadview
Unit #3, and
WHEREAS, a rev:lew of Floodpla:ln Map #040058-1275B :lndicates this
parcel is located in zone C, an area of minimal flooding. The
surrounding land use consists primarily of scattered residences to the
west in Meadview Unit #3 with the remainder of the area being vacant,
and
WHEREAS, this site is on federal land administered by the Bureau
of Land Management (BLM) south of the Lake Mead Recreational Area, and
WHEREAS, the applicant intends to establish a -6Q foot 70 foot
antenna tower and a 12-foot by ~ 20-foot radio equipment
building, with access provided from Meadview Unit 3, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on November 9, 1994, the commission recommended
APPROVAL for an Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 93-321 subject to the
following:
1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the
Mohave County zoning Regulations.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily
Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County,
Arizona, November 20, 1994, and posted November 18, 1994, as required
by Arizona Revised statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at
their regular meeting on Monday, December 5, 1994, APPROVED this
Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 93-321 as recommended by the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
