WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November 3, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Specific Use Permit for the above described property to Jim Wilkinson, Executive Director, Kingman Airport Authority, Kingman, Arizona. WHEREAS, the land is located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park northeast of Kingman and east of Highway 66. The si te is accessed from Highway 66 from Mohave Airport Drive, then southeast to the site, and WHEREAS, the proposed site is vacant and is surrounded by a variety of commercial and industrial uses, and WHEREAS, the developer of the site proposes manufacturing wood products including wood roof and floor trusses. There will be an office building and areas for cutting, assembly and shipping of the product, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-21708 indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission on October 12, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Specific Use Permit subject to the following: 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 2. If construction or use has not commenced within one year of Board approval of the Specific Use Permit or if the use has been discontinued for six months, then approval shall terminate at that date. 5. This Specific Use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60 days notification by the Board of Supervisors if, in the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued use of the property would be contrary to the public health, safety, and welfare. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 16, 1994, and posted October 17, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Thursday, November 3, 1994, APPROVED this Specific Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
