RESOLUTION NO. 94-393
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONE OF LOTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK G, GOLDEN
SAGE RANCHOS, UNIT 69, SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST
FROM A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) TO A-
R/IA (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) IN THE
GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of
Supervisors held on November 3, 1994, a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be granted for a Rezone for the
above described property to Ernest LaBelle of Jacksonville, Oregon,
and
WHEREAS, the property is located east of Dewey Road and north of
Mancos Drive. This land is accessed via Highway 68, then north on
Estrella Road, then west on Chinle Drive, then north on Dilkon Road,
then west on Mancos Drive, then north on Dewey Road to the site, and
WHEREAS, the property is mostly flat with a slight easterly
slope. There are no significant washes or drainage that cross the
property, and
WHEREAS, the area is vacant with the exception of one residence
to the east, and
WHEREAS, the owner proposes to split Lots 10 and 11 into two
separate parcels each, and
WHEREAS, review of FEMA Floodplain Map #040058-2125C indicates
that this parcel is located within Zone C, an area of minimal
flooding, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on October 12, 1994, the Commission recommended
APPROVAL for a Rezone subject to the following:

8. If these conditions are not met within one year, this
approval will be void. If at the expiration of this period
the property has not been improved to meet the use for which
it was conditionally approved, the Board (after notification
by registered mail to the owner and applicant who requested
the rezoning) shall schedule a publiC hearing to grant an
extension, determine compliance with the schedule for
development, or cause the property to revert to its former
zoning classification. This action is in accordance with
Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated, Title ll, Chapter 6, 11-
832.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily
Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County,
Arizona, October 16, 1994, and posted October 17, 1994, as required by
Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at
their regular meeting on Thursday, November 3, 1994, APPROVED this
Rezone as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning
Commission and outlined herein.
