KNOWN AS BROOK DRIVE FROM THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF EGAR ROAD TO THE CEN'!'ER LINE OF EHRENBERG ROAD: THE WESTERLY 50-FOOT ROADWAY EASEMENT KNOWN AS EHRENBERG ROAD FROM THE CENTER LINE OF BROOK DRIVE TO THE SECTION LINE DIVIDING SECTIONS 10 AND 15 AT SHIPP DRIVE: AND THE NORTHERLY 50-FOOT ROADWAY EASEMEN'!' KNOWN AS SHIPP DRIVE FROM THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF EGAR ROAD TO THE CEN'!'ER LINE OF EHRENBERG ROAD, ALL BEING WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF PARCEL 280 IN THE SW\, SW~ OF SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on November 3, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an abandonment for the above described property to Royal Estates Inc., Bullhead City, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the area proposed for abandonment is located south of Arizona State Highway 68 and east of Egar Road. The site is accessed from Highway 68 by Egar Road, then south to the site, and WHEREAS, Shipp Drive is being used for roadway purposes. Brook Drive and Ehrenberg Road are not improved and are not being used for roadway purposes, and WHEREAS, the abandonments are a part of Royal Estates Subdivision. The developer proposes to abandon the 50-foot roadway easement and then rededicate the roadways as a part of the final plan of the subdivision, and WHEREAS, Citizens Utilities Company has indicated there is guy wire located on a portion of the roadway that is proposed for abandonment. The engineer of the project has indicated they will work wi th the utility company to determine the exact location of the guy wire and create an appropriately sized easement, and WHEREAS, at the publiC hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on October 12, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an abandonment subject to the following: 3'0 INDEXED M~ ~94- 68931 BK 2~9. That the southerly 50-foot roadway easement known as Brook Drive from the east right-of-way of Egar Road to the center line of Ehrenberg Road; the westerly 50-foot roadway easement known as Ehrenberg Road from the center line of Brook Drive to the section line dividing Sections 10 and 15 at Shipp Drive; and the northerly 50-foot roadway easement known as Shipp Drive from the east right-of-way of Egar Road to the center line of Ehrenberg Road, all being within the boundaries of Parcel 280 in the sWl{, SWl{ of Section 10, Township 21 North, Range 19 West, be abandoned. 2. The guy wire located on proposed Lot 4, Block 2 will require an easement. The length, width and location of the easement will be determined by Citizens Utili ties Company, and the information indicated on the plat. 3. The roadway easements are to be abandoned upon dedication of the roadways at the time of recordation of the Final Plat of Royal Estates, Tract 3302. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, October 16, 1994, and posted October 17, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Thursday, November 3, 1994, APPROVED this Abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
