PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDIM~ FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 94-360 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT ON PARCEL II-N-B, IN THE KINGMAN AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK, SECTION 26 TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EXECUTIVB OFFICE AND STORAGE FACILITY IN AN A-D (AIRPORT-DEVELOPMENT) ZONE IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 4, 1994, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Specific Use Permit for the above described property to Jim Wilkinson, Executive Director, Kingman Airport Authority, Kingman, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the land is located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park northeast of Kingman and east of Highway 66. The si te is accessed ~rom Highway 66 via Mohave Airport Drive, then southeast to Transport Drive, then northeast to the site, and WHBREAS, the proposed site is vacant and is surrounded by a variety of commercial and industrial uses, and WHEREAS, the developer of the site proposes a storage building and executive office related to agricultural operations, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2170B indicates this parcel is located in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 14, 1994, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for a Specific Use Permit subject to the following: 1. If construction or use has not commenced within one year of Board approval of the Specific Use Permit or if the use has been discontinued for six months, then approval shall terminate at that date. 5. This Specific Use Permit is subject to revocation upon 60 days notification by the Board of Supervisors if, in the opinion of the Commission and Board, the continued use of the property would be contrary to the public health, safety, and welfare. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 18, 1994, and posted September 16, 1994, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 1994, APPROVED this SpeCific Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
